Jura GIGA X8c water supply

Hi,
I'm helping a friend to see if I can repair his coffee machine.
The machine is an Jura GIGA X8c, with external water supply.
My problem right now is that I want to use the internal water tank, I don't have any external water connection to use here.
But ut doesn't seem to work to just fill water in the tank and attach it at the place for it.
The machine will not start up when I power it on, it goes through the startup process, I can see the text "System filling" and then it changes to "Press the rotary switch"
When I press the rotary switch it just goes back to the "System filling" screen and then the Press the rotary switch" this just repeats all the time.
So I'm wondering if I have to do something special to change from the external water supply to the internal water tank?
The magnet in the water tank can move freely, so that's not the problem.

Normally there is a little electronic. A capacity Sensor for the volume of water. Maybe it is defective.
