Jura C5 - für jede Kaffeezubereitung braucht man zwei Portionen Kaffee

Da ich neu in diesem Forum bin, zunächst eine „herzliches Hallo“ an alle Forumsmitglieder.

Ich habe eine Jura Impressa C5 und seit ein paar Tagen verhält sie sich sehr eigenartig:

-ich schalte die Maschine ein, sie geht auf das Symbol „Pflege“ – blinkt bis sie aufgeheizt ist und leuchtet dann (so weit noch normal).
-jetzt drücke ich den Rotary-Switch um die Spülung zu starten – die Maschine beginnt aber nicht zu spülen, sondern die Anzeige beim Heißwasser-Drehknopf beginnt zu blinken
-nun öffne ich den Heißwasser-Drehknopf, die Anzeige springt auf fix leuchted um und ein wenig Dampf und Wasser kommen aus der Düse. Wenn die Anzeige zu blinken beginnt, schließe ich den Heißwasser-Drehknopf und die Leuchtanzeige springt zum Rotary-Witch – also bereit zum Kaffeemachen. Das funktioniert auch.
-will man jetzt einen zweiten Kaffee machen, dann nimmt die Maschine Bohnen, mahlt diese, die Pumpe springt an, es kommt jedoch kein Kaffee raus sondern der gemahlene (unverbrauchte) Kaffee wird ausgeworfen und die Anzeige springt auf den Heißwasser-Drehknopf und blinkt.
-Nun wieder Dampf ablassen, dann springt die Maschine wieder in den bereit Modus und wenn man jetzt drückt, startet der normale Vorgang (mahlen, brühen, auswerfen).

Möchte man nun einen zweiten Kaffee, dann beginnt das Spiel von vorne: Kaffee wird gemahlen, Pumpe springt an, Kaffee wird unbenutzt ausgeworfen, Anzeige auf Heißwasser-Drehknopf, Dampf ablassen, dann erst gibt’s Kaffee.

Der Zustand ist also im Moment so, dass bei jeder Kaffeezubereitung eine Portion Kaffee unbenutzt (trocken) im Auffangbehälter landet, Dampf abgelassen werden muss und erst nach dem zweiten Mal Bohnen nehmen und mahlen gibt’s endlich Kaffee.

Auf Dauer ist das ziemlich lästig und wird auch teuer, wenn bei jeder Kaffeezubereitung eine Portion unbenutzt ausgeworfen wird.


Bisherige Maßnahmen:

- Patrone neu eingesetzt und aktiviert
- Maschine manuell mit Reinigungstablette gereinigt (ohne Aufforderung durch die Maschine)
- Maschine entleert (wie z.B. für einen Transport) und einige Stunden vom Stromnetzt genommen

Leider haben die bisherigen Maßnahmen nichts genützt. Ich möchte noch anmerken, dass seit ich die Maschine besitze (ca. 5 Jahre) immer eine  Filterpatrone eingesetzt ist und ich jeden Reinigungsvorgang nach Aufforderung (mit Reinigungstablette) sofort durchgeführt wurde.

Ich hoffe, liebe Forumsmitglieder, irgendjemand hat eine Tip für mich, denn ich möchte die Maschine nicht gerne zur Reparatur bringen müssen.

Cause I am new to this forum, first of all a "big hello" to all forum members.

I have a Jura Impressa C5, and since a few days it behaves very strange:

-I turn on the machine, it goes on the "care" - flashes until it is heated and then lights (as far as normal).
-now I press the Rotary Switch to start the flushing - the machine does not start but to flush out but the display in the hot water knob starts to flash
-Now I open the hot water knob, the display jumps to fix and will glow for a little steam and water coming out of the nozzle. When the indicator starts to flash, I close the hot water knob and the light indicator will jump to the Rotary Witch - so be ready to make coffee. This also works.
man wants to make a second coffee now, then the machine takes beans, grinds them, the pump jumps, but it comes out no coffee but the ground (unused) coffee is ejected and the display jumps to the hot water knob and flashes.
-Now again let off steam, the machine switches back to the ready mode, and if you push now, the normal operation starts (grind, brew, eject).

If you now wish a second coffee, then the game starts from the beginning: coffee is ground, pump jumps, coffee is ejected unused, Drain display on the hot water knob, steam, only then there is coffee.

The state is thus at the moment so that at each coffee preparation, a portion of coffee unused (dry) lands in the collecting vessel, steam must be drained and take and grind beans only after the second time there's finally coffee.

In the long run this is pretty annoying and is also expensive if at each coffee preparation, a portion is ejected unused.


Previous measures:

- Cartridge used and activates
- Machine manually cleaned with cleaning tablet (without being prompted by the machine)
- Machine emptied (eg for transport) and taken a few hours from the electricity network

Unfortunately, the measures taken so far have been of no avail. I would like to say that since I own the machine (about 5 years) always a filter cartridge is installed and I was every cleaning process (with cleaning tablet) performed immediately upon request.

I hope, dear forum members, someone has a tip for me, because I would not want to have to take to repair the machine.

Tja der Claris Filter schützt nicht vor Verkalkung. Das System ist verstopft. Viele Bezüge hat deine Maschine gemacht?

Wieviele Bezüge die Maschine gemacht hat, kann ich fast nicht sagen. Ich bin der einzige Kaffeetrinker in der Familie und trinke im Schnitt 4 Tassen pro Tag und das 5 Jahre lang - wenn man das rechnet kommt man auf ca. 7300 Tassen. Wobei das sicher zuviel ist, da ich die Urlaub nicht abgerechnet habe

Das wusste ich nicht, dass der Filter alleine nicht schützt, nachdem ich immer einen Filter eingesetzt habe und die Maschine nie zum Entkalken aufgefordert hat.

Habe jetzt folgendes gemacht: Filter deaktiviert, entkalkt. Konnte jetzt 3 Kaffee ohne Dampf ablassen bzw. ohne dass der gemahlene Kaffee sofort ausgeworfen wird, zubereiten. Hab den Filter wieder aktiviert und bekam wieder problemlos eine Tasse.  Ich dürfte wohl Glück gehabt haben und das Entkalken hat genützt

Nachdem die Maschine nie das Entkalken verlangt, wie oft soll man das denn händisch durchführen (nach wievielen Zubereitungen)?

Hallo Bardstale,

bei eingesetztem Filter wird -leider- niemals zu einer Entkalkung aufgefordert. Das muss in der von dir beschriebenen Weise manuell durchgeführt werden. Wie oft hängt letztendlich vom Härtegrad des lokalen Wassers ab. Einmal pro Jahr dürfte bei dir wohl genügen da du bisher wohl keine Probleme mit Kalk hattest.

Die Anzahl der Bezüge kannst du gemäß Betriebsanleitung im Menü ablesen.

Es freut mich dir geholfen zu haben und hoffentlich ist die Beseitigung des Fehlers von Dauer. Try and error...

with inserted filter is unfortunately-never prompted to descale. This must be done manually in the manner you described. How often ultimately depends on the hardness of the local water. Once a year should probably meet with you because you've had no problems so far, probably with lime.

OK, werde die noch vorhandenen Filter verbrauchen und dann keine mehr einsetzen sondern auf die Aufforderung der Maschine zum Entkalken reagieren. Der Härtegrad in meinem Bezirk laut Auskunft der Gemeinde ist zwischen 6 - 11 °.

Danke nochmals für die Tips - ich würde sagen, das Problem ist hiermit erledigt.

Wichtig ist den Filter auch zu deaktivieren. Ansonsten ist die Entkalkung geblockt.

Danke nochmals für den expliziten Hinweis. Bardstale hatte die Funktion zum Entkalken ausgeschaltet, anders funktioniert der Entkalkungsprozess auch nicht.

Wer gern gefiltertes Wasser haben möchte (oder braucht) kann den Filter eingebaut und zusätzlich die Funktion "entkalken" aktiviert lassen. So wird zwar zur regelmäßigen Entkalkung aufgefordert aber der Hinweis auf einen verbrauchten Claris Filter entfällt. Ich denke das kann man aber gut manuell überwachen.

Kleiner Tipp: Granulat zum Nachfüllen des Filters ist bei BND zu bekommen; das mache ich schon seit Jahren so. Aus hygienischen Gründen sollte die Filterpatrone trotzdem nach ca. 10 Füllungen erneuert werden.

Thanks again for the explicit reference. Bardstale had turned the function off for descaling, unlike the descaling process also does not work.

Who would like to have filtered water (or need) can be installed the filter in addition to the "de-scale" can be activated. Thus, while it asked for regular descaling but the reference to a spent Claris filter is not necessary. I think that you can but good monitor manually.

A little tip: granules for refilling the filter is to get at BND; I've been doing for years. For hygiene reasons, the filter cartridge should still be replaced after about 10 fillings.
