Hi, forum!
My Impressa S9 doesn't distribute any water any longer.
No water in coffee spout, tea spout, steam, in tray when making coffee or rinsing.
No error codes on display and no water leakage.
Is it safe to assume that the pump has given up or something else?
The pump makes noise as usual (maybe a bit noisier than normal though).
I installed new o-rings in the brew group about half a year ago (but when the brewgroup have failed before there is always water coming out somewhere).
Thankful for any tips so I know what to order from BND!

Hi, it can be calcination within the water circulating system. Do you have a Claris water filter in use? If so please remove him and start to descale the machine. If not successful maybe twice. If still not successful you may have to clean all tubes etc. inside your Jura but try to proceed as described first.

Thank you Jurist!
Well, I doubt that it is calcification, we have extremely soft water and I never use any filters and have only decalcified twice (without actually needing to). The problem occured from one day to the next and I assume that calcification will gradually build up?

Well I'm jalous of your soft water..
Anyway I assume you are quite experienced with your machine. I attached a very useful water circulatin plan, described in German but picture in English )-)).
First of all you can check the water pump. Remove the tube on the pressure side and see if water comes out while machine is work und. Please be aware of 220 volt!,
If ok you must check all other components as you can see in the plan. Please also check the small tubes and blow trough. Take a needle if not successful. Don't be hesitate for further questions!

Thank you for the water map! I will probably check it out this weekend so I can order parts on monday morning. Will update the thread when I know more.
Yes, the water is very very soft where I live (we're lucky), no calcification at all and I've had my machine since new and it has brewed 12708 cups to date.

I've opened up the machine and done some research. If I disconnect the hose coming in to the pump from the flowmeter and the watertank attached there is water coming out of the hose. If disconnect the "membrangregler" from the pump and the other output, water is coming through that device. Is it 100% nailed down to the pump itself then? I mean the water takes 2 ways coming out of the membranregler (1 to steamer and 1 to thermoblock) and if the thermoblock was faulty then the steamer should work, right?
If the pump is going to be changed I saw that there are 2 versions and the more expensive one being more quieter and stronger(?). Should I maybe change the membranregler at the same time as well (other parts also in the water flow system which is good to change while at it like pump thermostat etc.?)?

Yep, thermoblock and steamer are to different devices. Do you have investigated that on the outside connect of the water pump to the heater water comes with pressure? If not it's definitely the pump. I would recommend the low noise model.
Changing other divices in advance makes from my point of view no sense.

Well, I don't know what you mean by pressure, but, I disconnected the hose coming from the flow meter (the one going to the pump) and as soon as I connected the water tank (well within a second or 2) water started dripping out of the hose.
Since it basically gave up immediately from one day to the next and makes a higher noise now, is that common that pumps go "bad" this way, I mean quite "digital" (on/off)?

I try to explain. From the water map you can see that "D" is the outgoing part. To test the pump you must switch on the mashine and let the pump working. Water must come out with pressure. When it only drips the pump is broken. Hose must be removed.
Anther candidate is the Auslaufventil, remove the black cap and have a look inside. Be aware there is a Spring who can jump away...

Thanks! I'm at work right now so I cannot check again. I took the safe route (I hope) and ordered some parts from BND this morning like, the new version of the pump, thermostat for the pump, rubber holders for the pump etc. as well as other parts that is good to have on the shelf like drainage ventil, O-rings for drainage ventil, thermoblock and brew group.
I'll update you on the progress when parts arrived and have been changed, thanks a lot so far! :-)

Whow! I C U are highly motivated. Always good having some spare parts at hand. Help to save postage fee. Welcome 2 to expert team!
Update:
Today I got a S95 from my friend with the same error as your mashine. It turns out that red rubber piece in the hose between the heater and Keramikventil blocked the water circulation. I removed and now it works perfect. I assume this piece comes from the water heater this has to be investigated. Not a doddle to find it...

But did this error block all water in the S95 (I mean no water coming to steam heater for example)? I think that if it turns out to be something else than the pump I'll still have bit less noisier sound and as I understood it and more power.
I had major problems ordering the parts, the order was rejected and I had to start over several times (which is time consuming as there was a lot of parts), turns out my postal address was wrong from the beginning (but it has worked before) and it was not possible to checkout all the way with PayPal. Now the parts are finally ordered and I hope that BND ships today so the parts will arrive soon, I'm using Néscafé as a substitute for the time being (which actually is not too bad).

You're right it only blocked Coffee water but not steam.
Please bear in mind that I am not BND employee but usually there is no problem by ordering parts from this shop. I'm from Hamburg and far away. Meanwhile enjoy your "coffee"...;-))
Please keep us updated.

Somtimes there problems with different Browser like firefox or google chrom. The Homepage is programmed for the Internet Explorer only.
Also the payment typs are different. Some have a check up before it is possible to pay.
But the best way is, to contact us directly if there are problems with the online shop.
